Every day, SPF should be applied to exposed areas, which frequently include the face, neck, chest, ears, and hands. It’s especially crucial to reapply every two hours or sooner if you’re swimming or perspiring, during the summer when people spend more time outside.

Applying enough sunscreen will also help to ensure that you receive sufficient protection. The two-finger technique should be used while applying sunscreen to your face and neck. Your index and middle fingers should each have one sunscreen strip applied, which is the recommended daily dose for the face. For exposed regions of the body, a shot glass’ worth is plenty.

For outdoor activities, avoid being in the sun between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm when UV radiation is at its strongest.
